If C'est Chouette Home has a needlepoint of yours in hand~ it will be returned to you shortly. If a needlepoint from my stock is being held in hopes of finding fabrics and trim~ that needlepoint will be put back into stock and will be listed on my website if/when supplies that best compliment the needlepoint are found. C'est Chouette Home will no longer accept shipments of needlepoint from customers.

Do you make the needlepoints?
No, I am always on the hunt for vintage needlepoints when I shop antique stores, flea markets, thrift stores. I only repair the needlepoints that I find.
Why are so many of the pillows round?
The shape of the pillows is determined by the shape of the vintage needlepoint. Most often I find needlepoint in already “in-the-round”. If the needlepoint is square or oblong, I will try to create a pillow using that shape. Because the needlepoints are vintage, all need re-blocking and sometimes I am unable to get them back “in square”, then a round pillow becomes more stable. I absolutely love the round tuffets, don't you?
Do you do special orders?
I do not do special orders because there is no way to tell what kind of needlepoint I will run across on any particular shopping day.
Will you make a tuffet or pillow from my heirloom needlepoint?
This really in not my business model for these reasons; I really do not wish for you to send your treasured heirloom through the mail then wait while I will put your needlepoint in the line-up because I will not create a tuffet or pillow until I find the perfect trims and silks. So without trying to be rude~ I have to say "No"Why do you use silk?
Silk has always been considered one of the finest fabrics made, sometimes considered more valuable than currency. Out of respect for our fore-mothers and fore-sisters who have spent so much time creating these lovely needlepoints, I feel adding silk is giving them the utmost respect. Don't you just love the feel of silk? I do.
Are the needlepoints clean?
Yes, they are as clean as I possibly can get them through hand washing with LA’s Totally Awesome All Purpose Cleaner ® , a safe, naturally gentle, biodegradable soap. LA’s Totally Awesome All Purpose Cleaner® contains no harsh detergents, ammonia, or bleach. I also disinfect the needlepoints with an alcohol based disinfectant. I cannot however guarantee they are allergy free.
When will my pillows arrive?
The pillows purchased throughout the week are shipped the following Monday morning. We ship USPS Priority so you should receive your pillows on Wednesday, Thursday at the latest. If you are needing a pillow sooner, please email C'est Chouette Home. Of course, USPS International will take a bit longer.Do you wholesale your pillow and tuffets?

I am in awe of needlepoint finishers. While I treat my vintage needlepoints with the utmost respect~ I only make pillows and tuffets. Finishers can do so much more and with far greater talent. There are many well trained finishers available on the internet and one locally that I can recommend.
